William Forrester Vs. J. D. Salinger

William Forrester is a fictitious character, there are some noticeable parallels between his life and that of the American author Jerome David (J. D. Salinger) :

  • Both Forrester and Salinger are notoriously reclusive authors.
  • In the movie Forrester blocked a biography of himself that the character Prof. Robert Crawford was going to have published. Salinger did the same thing through a lawsuit.
  • Both also only wrote one book that is wildly popular: Salinger's The Catcher in the Rye and Forrester's Avalon Landing
  • In his Glass family stories, Salinger's narrator, Buddy Glass, is obsessed with his dead older brother Seymour. In the movie, Jamal, discussing Forrester's novel, tells Forrester that he thinks there was somebody else. Forrester also has a brother who is dead.

Agoraphobia is often precipitated by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape.
William Forrester who had locked himself up in his house to avoid public or unfamiliar places. This anxiety disorder is commonly known as "agoraphobia" that confines people to their homes as the safest place.

*Shooting An Elephant*

The enemies on which the both sides were judging each other were ideological perspective. Burmese looked on George Orwell as intruders, who actully took over their land and were exploiting against their interest, as in two opposing forces. British where extending there ‘Raj’, Strengthen the roots of British Empire. George Orwell on other hand along list of enemies, The Cruel British Empire and Ethics, The Burmese Monks who acted as the worst creatures the God had ever created, His Job, Serving the British Empire. So for Orwell, Hostile Group of people looked as an enemies closet to the definition.

MoM oR RoboT...???

I was sleeping calmly but suddenly my alarm rings, i got a bit annoyed and switched it off.

Now back to sleep but, Guess what my husband asked me to wake up and prepare the Sehri; well now i have to, here i am off my bed towards the washroom, freshen up myself and ready for kitchen, lighten the burner and start off with the cooking.

Was feeling drowsy and wished my daughters would do this on my behalf so that i could have a chance to take a nap...=)
But it didn't happen, now i was done with my cooking and ready to yell at my family because i know they won't wake on my one call...including my husband who woke me but he's still asleep..damn

So, walking like in a Drill, with furious anger on my face towards my children room and off i go...

Now all are up and having there sehri...With an eye on the watch...

that's all folks

Introduction

To start with my introduction I shall first tell you my name… or may be where I study and what are my hobbies…

Boring and typical…isn’t it
So why not portraying myself in these few words:

“ A person with a soft heart, high aims, strengthened by support and blessings of the best parents who have made me play strong roles in these 19 years of my life and motivating me to move ahead to win the awards for the best son, a brother , a student, and a friend.”

“People often say that this or that person has not yet found himself. But the self is not something one finds, it is something one creates.”
David Beckham

And that’s exactly what I believe. A simple person with something to achieve, long way to go and live a beautiful simple family life…and still creating myself… that’s what I am.

Below is the start of a short journey to my introduction. For a sound and safe journey you do not need to fasten your seat belts neither take your oxygen masks as I guarantee to make this journey interesting and fun-packed. So, sit back, relax and lets explore my little world of Fakhar Ahmed…. That’s me

There we go…….

A 19 years old student at SZABIST, completed my intermediate from IoBM, and matriculation from Karachi Foundation school. Live with my parents and two elder sisters. Oh yes, I am the youngest and only son…. Pampered?… well yes, a bit for sure!! ;). My two elder sisters are married and happily living with their sweet little families. Oh yes! We are five in all and trust me that’s not horrifying at all, I feel lucky enough to get a chance to tease them all…;p it’s a blessing to be in this sweet family. Does that sound like a family guy… actually I am. My family comes for me first!

I was born on 27th of July 1989 in Lahore…. Oh yes, I am Punjabi with a big loving heart and kind nature… inherited from my darling parents

Being a guy, I am an automobiles freak! Can’t help myself from pulling out information about the latest and modified ones. And then looking for a chance to go out and have a look at it in showrooms and even on roads!

Then comes my side of being a mobiles freak…. Is there any of them I don’t know about….. I don’t think so!

So, now I reveal a very true picture of what I like and dislike about myself. I’ll make it short and interesting so u can still grab a bag of chips and take a look at the true side of Fakhar Ahmed

Well, I hate lies… yes everyone says that, I know but I cant stand lies. Even if it will make my dad hit me I’ll still say the truth. Sounds fake?… but that’s how it is!

I love to be well dressed. Yes a bit brand conscious but not very choosy. Carrying yourself well is what I believe. Brand comes after that!

I eat every sort of food, any kind of cuisine.. No issues! The best one is my sisters’ brain… ;).. Just kidding, that’s an appetizer for brothers, right? ;)

I am fond of watching movies. Horror, thriller, suspense, action, comedy.. all sorts are fine with me. Just love watching movies with my sisters accompanying me with drinks and snacks!…

Education for me is…. Mmm.. Of course as essential as food for living I believe. Its that cuisine that is hard to digest, at times breaks teeth just to chew it, but once its digested, you sure are the strongest and healthiest among others.

So, now you have a 3D picture of what I am… I have revealed all pros and cons of me afterall.

Hope you all enjoyed!!

P.S. The best part of this journey was that I didn’t hear anyone snoring ;)

Thank you & Take care!
